Designer Needed for 1099 Contractor Position
Home Path Remodeling is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Designer to join our team as a contractor. Having a full-service, in-house construction team affords you the opportunity to provide a one stop experience to our clients. You will have the support of the entire team to move your creativity to reality.
The Designer is a jack of all trades. They wear many hats and flip between creative, sales, and financial skill sets simultaneously and seamlessly. The Designer will be responsible for designing the space, pricing the different aspects of the products/labor we provide and ultimately selling the project to the homeowner. The Designer will engage in active project management and successfully be able to attend to and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient manner. Above all, the Designer must provide excellent product(s) and service to the client.
An in-depth knowledge of basic residential construction methodology, design trends and fixtures is essential. The Designer will also need to possess the ability to create visual presentation materials that are compelling and clearly communicate their vision to the customer.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of prior experience designing and selling projects.
• Proficient with drafting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Project Management skills.
• Professional, well spoken, able to verbalize and communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Sales generation and exceptional closing skills.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.

Work Location: Brookfield, WI. In-Person
Pay based on experience.

Residential carpentry experience is required. Minimum of 2 years.
